Carson Palmer tries to make peace with The OSU !

Ok you Knew that Carson had to say something after his comments on the Petros and Money (LA Radio show) about all the HYPE about the OSU this year and the build up of the 9/13 hame in the L:A Coliseum... He stated that he is a TROJAN first and forever, but he respects the OSU program... and meant no disrespect by sayimng he looked forward to this years and next years home and away series!!

Hey, just speaking your mind is AOK!! Let the play on the field settle the "which team is BETTER" debate !!!

Only in this PC world of ours would a CF fan be asked to defend his passion. I was hoping that Carson wouldn't cave and "explain" himself. He did, and I can understand having to do it. But he's correct. this year, I've never met a more obnoxious group of fans (just check out the CBS threads) than those from Ohio St. OK, LSU fans are really nuts (rude), but they have alcohol, etc. to blame. TL1, He said what he said as a Trojan first and foremost. People took what he said and cried foul. Only in America are we going to rip a guy for rooting for his school. The people in Ohio need to just get over it. He works there for the Bengals and I don't think it's in his contract that he can't cheer for the school he played for when they play Ohio St. He was just giving his opinion and I can understand it. CFB fans are passionate about their schools, so when you live in a CFB hotbed and your not a fan of that school, it can tend to be overbearing having to listen to OSU talk all year round. And he didn't say anything that we wouldn't say to our buddies. The only difference is, You and I are not a famous NFL QB. People are such hypocrites. [ Reply to Comment ]

About LSU will Never Give UP

Living in the Past-A theme that continues with a few passionate, yet disturbed Tiger fans. It is all about the "shared" N/C that were created by the BCS flawed formula in selecting the TOP two teams in December 2003. Some (not all) LSU fans forget that the AP N/C is still a N/C and that because of the SPLIT, LSU must share a N/C with USC in 2003. Here is hoping that LSU will get a chance to play USC in maybe a Third Generation game from the Leinhart(Soph) Bush-White (Fresh) team of 2003! Fight ON!!
